As the first release since grow up, you already know this song is full of unapologetic confidence accompanied by a satisfying blunt tone that leaves no question about how you deserve to live your life. the song follows the inevitable path of those who harbor envy, misery, conceded delusion, immaturity, and selfishness, as they try to lie and manipulate their way to the top; and their ever so satisfying wake up call as they start to crack at the seams- realizing everyone around them grew up and nobody is willing to put up with their antics.
"Now you're busy in the mirror, what, tryna cover bitch with concealer?" Bleu sings in a tone that loudly makes her point clear.
Speaking on the song, Bleu shares "We're all done taking bullshit from people. Being told to 'be the bigger person', or 'just get over/ move past things', is so manipulative, and just a way of enabling emotional immaturity, guilting good people to allow others to treat them poorly & take advantage of them. That shit is so stupid and gross. We're in a new era where we put ourselves first every time, simply because it's our life. Anyone who doesn't like that, isn't a good fit!
This song makes me laugh at the absurdity of some people- the bad lies they tell to try to impress, the attention they need, and the things they're willing to do to get it. But everyone around them grew up and realized that the immaturity of those people is laughably embarrassing, and that we can just walk away rather than trying to justify keeping their miserable energy around. Misery loves company. And there is no good reason to let someone like that stick around. Let them play their games, we'll be over here living our peaceful, successful, happy lives!"

"As the title implies, the album walks through Bleu’s formative years as she lets go of guilt and takes back her power. Each song is dedicated to different cases of abuse, toxicity, exploitation, that faced Bleu with pivotal decisions. Writing the trying lyrics led to unexpectedly digesting supressed emotions, and recognizing true realities, kindling an impassioned flame."
